Panel Discussion - Women in the Danish Tech Ecosystem

HackYourFuture Copenhagen invites you for a panel discussion about "Women in Technology - Including Everyone in the Danish Tech Ecosystem."
The event will feature a panel discussion moderated by Alexandra Ciobotaru, founder of the podcast Femme Lead. Three panelists will share their respective experience of advocating for more gender equality and inclusion in the Danish Tech Industry and female panelists will reflect upon their respective experience as women in the tech ecosystem.
The event will be held Thursday 20th May from 5pm-6PM CEST.

Zoey Zou
Zoey Zou, a former buyer is now a software engineer who advocates to empower more women with tech.
She comes as a late bloomer, who got into a software role in six months despite coming from a non-tech background. She's a former student and current active mentor in HackYourFuture; being experienced in both vulnerable and privileged positions makes her relate deeply to how tech can empower people. She has been actively involved in volunteering and community building to help more people - especially women - get into tech: she has been hosting various tech-job-related workshops and co-organizing local tech community events in order to bridge people with the resources they need, she also advocates in the companies she works with for dedicating resources to tech communities underrepresented people can benefit from.
Rasmus Bruun
Rasmus Bruun is the co-founder and managing director for InchByInch and an advisory board member of WonderCoders, as well as an advisor to the Nordic Women in Tech Awards. He cares for entrepreneurship and diversity and is actively working to promote female role models with the intention to inspire more women to start their own businesses or become part of the tech sector. In 2021, Rasmus was selected as one of Denmark’s top 100 business talents by the oldest Danish newspaper, Berlingske.
Alexandra Ciobotaru
Alexandra Ciobotaru built a reputation as a business thought leader in the start-up ecosystem in Copenhagen. She concentrates on product and growth at Novoresume, including the appraisal of new product ideas, strategizing appropriate to-market plans, and balancing resources to ensure success for the entire organization. She is actively involved in promoting women in STEM, and she has been nominated for Nordic Women in Tech Awards in 2018 & 2020. In August, Alexandra launched her podcast, Femme Lead, the podcast on female leadership and role models where she interviews leaders on career paths and learnings.
Anja Monrad
Anja Monrad leads the Dell Technologies CEE, covering 31 countries, from Israel
to Poland. Having joined Dell as Marketing Director for the Nordic countries in 2000, Anja has since pursued an international career within Dell Marketing holding various regional and global roles. She is an ardent promoter of female entrepreneurship and has been recognized among the top inspiring women in the Nordic tech scene. Anja is a member of the Danish IT association board and Chairman of the IT association’s Steering committee for Female IT Executives. In 2018 she has been appointed the chair of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition Governing Board at the European Union.
Marie Hoff
Passionate about socially responsible development, Marie is currently the project lead of HackYourFuture Copenhagen, hosting today's panel discussion. After graduating with a MsC in global development from Copenhagen University, Marie built her career in the Danish third sector. Her practical knowledge of the Danish asylum system as well as her involvement in engaged organisations made her the perfect fit for the non-profit HackYourFuture. Marie cherishes human interactions and her unique leadership style fosters innovation.
Marie Hoff won't be part of the panel discussion but will introduce HackYourFuture Copenhagen and be active in the chat.
