chorong there we go oh hi and welcome back to the second exciting session here we're not quite as many people as one could hope for for the second session but I guess the timing isn't ideal I will be sharing my screen here I'm just switching into some clients so um first of all a big part of the stuff we just discussed before let me just see if I can minimize miss you a lot so we discussed before words how to publish your application to a web app and I understand that the sadhana you had some issues with that so I just put in a few slides because there's another alternative option if you have hard time publishing from Visual Studio which is you can actually configure your web app in the azure portal to just deploy from Princeton's from github or a smaller place that means that you pretty easy can filled up in the web in the portal and then you can push stuff and whenever you submit something or you merge code into your master branch for instance then it will automatically be built and put on the server that's a really neat way of just using a basic kind of connection that you can use and also I mean this is a continuous deployment really which is a really powerful way of getting things out there especially if you work in the team what I see more more is that people often want their multiple developers working in a web project like a big website is that they will use this but they will then use it together with a DevOps which will let them set up complete pipelines and I have a few slides so yeah if you want to set it up just in the web app itself I put in a screen shot here it's basically in the web app does a place called appointments in there and there you can set up deploys you can pick github boy could be from one guy for Dropbox or something else and then basically once you've authorized you give up then you can pick which branch and set up how to build it and then it will be built and whenever you know anyone who came to the web [ __ ] so whenever there's a new merchants job branch it will basically get delayed from the premise a little bit and put it on the side it I cannot show right now with the current brands I'm using because obviously I have you know the entire homework in one github repository and didn't take you know only at one specific goal and I can't even support for that right now do you need to make sure that your your cross coding structure in a way that's just that project that it needs to to pull them deploy I mean that's a way to configure that even more I'm not sure but I mean that's that much way of doing it hurts about you we are so long as you can you can basically publish to a folder and then you can get to P that folder up to the server all web apps have an FTP account as well see and when you look at the web app you'll see in the access case where they FTP accesses I mentioned as a pipeline so that's the really big cool thing where this is like it would work on as a pipelines where you basically push in code into revision studio into your given Pastore it could be the national retail could be kicked up it could be something else and then as a pipeline again picked up whenever something is posted to the right branch that'll trigger a bill and the build job again you can specify all the levels of a typically the Water Cube you know a Yamaka level to to actually build the front end stuff and someone spilled a bag and stuff and maybe run the unit test you have permanent bagging and then in the MPEG if the artifact the page that you want publish and then put it out someplace for publishing going to a place called Asia artifacts when treat all the packages that you want publish and then you can set up release pipelines so you can actually like pepper button to put it on the dev environment or bundle in like UAE and then you have probably prepared environments you can set up to actually push automatically out to all of those whenever somebody approves that it goes on to the next level that is I mean the more professional way of setting it up which mark a little bit talking for occur in that I think you should probably be able to fairly easily set it up your project directly from the web app just take from the kid repo so that's the way to do it the one thing I would remind you of those don't take in any of the connection strings like with the azure blob storage into your kid instead put them as properties in the absolute file and then put them in the web as well but see here yeah so student assignment I know we're not that many students who have any assignment so salami I still get the trumpeters to discuss with publishing it anybody else so did you manage to get anything object or unfortunately it's very hard I'm sure that the some of the other tools already returning is this call right now we'll want to do it as well and I would recommend everybody to basically try to complete the exercises here and then share links to your published side one shape opposite in the channel so we can all see how your side is looking you know dressed to impress try to make it very cool and something slightly different than the sample size that would be nice so add a few more slides here once that is done there's a lot of cool things you can do I mean obviously declare start at least stuff stuff at least five sessions but there's a ton of ideas if you wanted to enhance and do more cool stuff with the game and a few ideas we needed some kind of cleanup logic in the game to clean up old case you know in a regular basis if they no longer use so we don't have like open files lying around definitely OSHA need fire handling as well as error scenarios that we're not dealing with the computer I in the computer player could be improved I think a big thing is multiplayer mode as they're worse than the original version I showed you guys I was also thinking it would be cool to make a bot mode so where will you take the console application basically a lot of people to play that through a slack part maybe and what we really need to have a slight integration where you can you select start a new multiplayer game have people join another idea could be to make a hoot mode of the game where you can push the the you know the join play status and the table you open to a projector maybe using chromecast or something like that and then have the individual hands on people's phones which would go with this thing over here a responsive UI you know what be nice to remake something to react based UI if you guys feel awkward it would require probably changing in the controllers to be more web services in return a JSON objects instead of returning use you can add a top score list and finally this has the most advanced stuff you know like using samurais in Visual Studio and create an Android based game could be another monkey and again that tons of options and ideas I think we should hope that women if the world would change to normal I took this booted from The Walking Dead hopefully that's doesn't come to that but if the world were just normal then try we should try to meet up and have no a final hackathon as we talked about we maybe tried to work together to bring some ideas to life and make an awesome game we couldn't leave for careers it's not for that a sense so I'm all up for that if you guys are a little bit about the future of tablet I just wanted to push in here we've been working with that core and you might recall the we discussed the basic doesn't it framework is an alternative and I explained how the history is right now we have to the mid frame one-on-one time and that the core is a parallel open source initiative from the other what is basically going to happen is that they will become one again no two releases that misfire when are we showing that is but the idea is that the upgrade past both that MIT framework and double core is done with five one share platform pricing that you can use as a foundation of course any OS I guess the desktop applications web applications cloud applications mobile gaming and so on something that's really interesting and really exciting bright future ahead finally just a few words of recommendations I think it could be a good idea if you guys want to code some more I showed it once we did some warm-up exercises coding game I only recommend using coding Gamescom to get into it I made a video some time ago that you have missed right channel in the heck future YouTube channels I guess with an example of how you actually use coding game to get started try to do coding game like this with JavaScript tries to do with g-sharp it's not as hard as you might think and it's a click on icon you don't have to only do caches of code which are the fast pace Coralie elements but there's a lot of coding puzzles you can do that you really learn a lot from Island up nope didn't enjoy to start the video and that build your own projects start coding that's the best way to to couple and if you built under projects just used it on the channel unless you know for help I'll be happy to help and so will demented and you could maybe try to use the foundation we already have the card game library to build another cupcake right now we have the fairly simple and boring 31 card game but there's nobody saying you couldn't make a much more advanced income card game using the same basic components also just note that there will be an evaluation of the course so now through mail to everybody at some point need to figure out how to put that together and there were also be some cost advocates that will go out to those listed on the course why would I have many I know sherry has if you think to say but then especially you know thanks thanks to sherry thanks
